Colibri updates drill programs at the Ramard and Colibri properties, and grants Incentive Stock Options

Vancouver, British Columbia – April 17, 2012. Colibri Resource Corporation (“Colibri” or the “Company”) (TSX.V-CBI) is pleased to update exploration activities at the Ramard property near the town of Carbo and at the Colibri project located approximately 40 kilometers north of the city of Caborca in northern Sonora, Mexico. A 2,000 meter minimum diamond core drill program started at the Ramard Project in early March. Colibri to commence drilling on Ramard Silver property, Sonora, Mexico

Colibri Resource Corp is pleased to announce an initial 2000 meter drill program on the Ramard property in Sonora, Mexico to commence in November, 2011. The Ramard property consists of over 4000 hectares of mineral concessions located 100 km north of the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, wholly owned by Colibri’s Mexican subsidiary, Minera Halcones. The Ramard property contains numerous historical artisanal silver mine workings. Colibri intersects Near-Surface Zinc Mineralization on the Verde Zone at Ramard Project, Sonora, Mexico.

 Colibri Resource Corporation has received assay results from percussion drilling of an additional 8 percussion drill holes (RPD82 – RPD89) on the Ramaje Ardiente (Ramard) Project in Sonora, Mexico. The Ramard Project is held by an option agreement to acquire 100% ownership of 8,419 hectares made between the Mexican subsidiary of Colibri, Minera Halcones SA de CV, and a private Mexican company. Exploration drilling is focused on various broad areas of skarn and hornfels developed from Paleozoic sedimentary rocks with proximal associated porphyry intrusive rocks. Colibri Resource Corporation has received assay results from percussion drilling of an additional 36 percussion drill holes (RPD46 — RPD81) on the Ramaje Ardiente (Ramard) Project in Sonora, Mexico. The Ramard Project is held by an option agreement to acquire 100% ownership of 8,419 hectares made between the Mexican subsidiary of Colibri, Minera Halcones SA de CV, and a private Mexican company. Drilling exploration is focused on approximately 4 square km of skarn and hornfels in Paleozoic sedimentary rocks with associated porphyry intrusive rocks.
